New Delhi: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted isolated heavy rainfall in parts of Maharashtra and Gujarat on Saturday. Some parts of the region are witnessing heavy rains for the last few days. The weather department has also predicted very heavy rainfall in Bihar for the next two to three days.
According to the IMD, fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall is also expected in parts of Konkan and Goa, Gujarat, and Maharashtra for the next three days. Apart from this, isolated to scattered light to moderate rainfall is expected in the same region for the next four days. The region may also witness isolated to Scattered light to moderate rain over Marathwada during the week.
Parts of Uttar Pradesh have fairly widespread rainfall
Some parts of eastern Uttar Pradesh may witness fairly widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall in the next three days, while isolated to Scattered light to moderate rain is expected in the next 4 days subsequently. Parts of Rajasthan, West Uttar Pradesh, Chandigarh, Haryana, and Delhi may witness isolated to scattered light to moderate rainfall. The region may also witness dry weather in the same region during the subsequent three to four days.
The department has also predicted scattered to fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall very in the eastern part of the country during the next four days. The region may also witness fairly widespread to widespread light/moderate rainfall in the region next 2 days and isolated to Scattered light to moderate rainfall during the next subsequent 5 days, the statement released by IMD predicted.
Heavy rainfall in parts of Assam, Meghalaya
Heavy rainfall is also expected in parts of Assam and Meghalaya from September 29 to October 3. While Sikkim West Bengal and Bihar may witness isolated heavy rainfall on September 28th, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura may also experience the same weather conditions from September 30 to October 3.
