Dehradun: The Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Roorkee scored 8th position among top 10 educational institutes of the country. In the recently released National Institutional Ranking Framework, NIRF Rankings 2024, the oldest engineering college in the country has again ranked as the top college for the second year in a row. Whereas, All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS), Rishikesh improves its ranking in the list of top 50 medical institutes of the country and gets 14th position.
IIT Roorkee ranks number one in the category of Architecture college
The list of top 50 medical institutions of the country was released by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) on Monday. In the category of Architecture College, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, has again ranked number one as the top architecture college for the third year in a row. In the ranking list, IIT, Madras has been announced the country’s best institute imparting education in the field of technology.
AIIMS, Rishikesh has secured the 14th position this time
Uttarakhand’s another premier medical institute, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rishikesh has secured the 14th position this time. For the past several years, AIIMS Rishikesh has made a special identity every year in the field of research and technological innovation which has yielded the good results and this institute has secured 14th position in the list of top 50 medical institutes of the country by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF).
AIIMS Rishikesh had received 22nd rank last year
Last year, AIIMS Rishikesh got 22nd rank, this time AIIMS has proved its capabilities by improving by eight ranks. In the year 2022, the rank of AIIMS Rishikesh was 49, whereas in the year 2023, the institute impressed everyone by improving its performance and securing the 22nd position. At the same time, seeing the performance of newly established institutes after Delhi AIIMS, AIIMS Rishikesh is also the best performing institute in a short time. Dr. Meenu Singh, AIIMS Rishikesh’s executive director, said that it is the result of collective hard work.
