Rangareddy: A huge fire broke out late Tuesday night at the Kamson Hygiene Pvt Ltd industry in Nandigama village, Rangareddy district, due to a reported short circuit.
The fire began in a newly built shed at around 1 am and quickly spread, engulfing ground-level facilities of the nappy manufacturing company, causing huge property damage. Witnesses said that the blaze was intense and flames visible from afar.
However, no casualties have been reported as all staff evacuated the premises in time. Fire engines reached the spot with five fire engines shortly after the blaze erupted and worked through the night to contain the flames and prevent it from spreading further.
Efforts are on to fully extinguish the blaze ad officials in the meanwhile, launched an investigation to confirm more details on the cause of the fire and assess the extent of the damage.

Last week, a huge blaze erupted at Paras Fireworks wholesale shop after, just three days before Diwali in Boggulakunta, Ramkote. The owner of the shop was taken into custody for not having permits and safety equipment.
