New Delhi: It will be a North India battle in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) as Haryana Steelers will take on Dabang Delhi at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad on October 28, Monday. Both teams are coming from a dominating victory in their previous matches.
Delhi are looking great in this edition of PKL as their raiding department is looking good. Ashu Malik is performing well in the league stage and he is also in the Top 5 raiders in the league. Haryana’s defenders put on a great show in their last match as they stopped raiding sensation Arjun Deshwal multiple times.
Haryana have faced Delhi 14 times in PKL history, where they won 8 times and Delhi won only 6 times. Mohammed Shadloui will be a tough challenge for Delhi’s inform raiding department.
In the second match of the night, Home team Telugu Titans will be against three-time PKL champion Patna Pirates. Both teams are in the bottom half of the table and will be looking to move into the Top 6 spots.
Titans won their first match but after that, they crashed very badly as they lost three consecutive matches. Titans skipper Pawan Sehrawat is in the top spot for most points by raider but except him, no-one is performing in the matches.
Patna won their last match against Tamil Thalaivas in a high-scoring match. Devank scored 25 points in the last match scoring the most points by a single player in a match this season. Patna’s skipper Shubham Shinde has to step up in the matches.
