New Delhi: Psoriasis is a chronic, painful skin disorder that affects millions globally. It’s an autoimmune condition in which the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks its own skin, leading to red rashes, intense itching, and silver-white scaly patches. In allopathy, treatment typically revolves around symptom management rather than a permanent cure. However, a new development from Patanjali Ayurveda has brought hope to patients suffering from this condition.
A recent study conducted by the Patanjali Research Institute has been published in the reputed Journal of Inflammation Research, part of the international “Taylor & Francis” group. According to the findings, Patanjali’s Sorogrit tablets and Divya Oil have shown promising results in treating psoriasis. Acharya Balkrishna, head of the institute, stated that Patanjali scientists have been working for years to understand the root causes of psoriasis. He explained that the disease results in scaly skin and painful red patches that are highly itchy.
Allopathy only offers temporary relief
In conventional medicine, psoriasis treatment is focused on controlling symptoms. Patients often experience side effects, and long-term solutions remain elusive. Psoriasis is a serious autoimmune disease, and until now, there hasn’t been a permanent cure. Patanjali’s research, however, suggests that even a condition long considered incurable can be managed effectively through Ayurvedic remedies.
How Patanjali’s treatment works
Both Sorogrit and Divya Oil are made from natural Ayurvedic herbs. These ingredients help reduce skin inflammation, remove dead skin, and regulate immune system activity. Unlike typical treatments that offer short-term relief, this approach targets the disease at its root—making lasting recovery possible.
A safer, natural alternative
Allopathic drugs often come with adverse effects, whereas Patanjali’s Ayurvedic treatment is plant-based and has reported no side effects so far. The remedy not only supports physical recovery but also contributes to mental well-being.
Global recognition for Ayurveda
The international publication of this study marks a significant milestone for Ayurveda. Once seen as an India-centric practice, Ayurveda is now gaining scientific credibility and recognition on the global stage. This development reinforces the relevance and potential of India’s ancient healing traditions in modern healthcare.
