Mumbai: Festive mood on! The most happiest and auspicious time of the year is here, Diwali or Deepawali. Diwali will be celebrated on October 31 this year with the Diwali week starting on October 29, Dhanteras and ending on November 3, Bhai Dooj.
Every day of the Diwali week is auspicious and has its significance. Dhanteras to Kali Chaudas or Naraka Chaturdashi to Govardhan Puja on November 2 and Bhai Dooj and of course, Diwali on October 31 when Amavasvaya tithi begins and the day of Laxmipujan. Amavasya tithi ends on November 1.
