New Delhi: After the deaths of three UPSC aspirants at a coaching centre in Delhi’s Old Rajendra Nagar, many students have raised a collective voice against some teachers. Teachers Avadh Ojha and Vikas Divyakirti, who groom students for UPSC, have also come under attack of the students, the Jansatta reported.
Several students have raised questions over the silence of these teachers on the deaths of the three civil services aspirants. These teachers have given no reaction on the incident. And the students have taken strong exception to their studied silence. “Why didn’t they speak about it and why didn’t they extend their help?” they are asking.
The Old Rajendra Nagar occurred on July 27 when rainwater gushed into the basement of a coaching centre and three students were drowned. Weeks after the incident, a video has emerged, in which some students can be seen making serious allegations against Avadh Ojha.
One of the clips posted on YouTube channel named Navyug TV is going viral. In this clip, a student has dubbed Avadh Ojha “Sir” a goon. The student said, “I have been his student in Next IAS. He does not teach history, he will just come and write four points.”
Further, the girl told the channel, “Ojha sir used to come to class in shorts. When I complained, he laughed it off. He has no ethics, he only preaches and always talks about sex. My mother also saw it when online classes were going on.”
The student added, “Because he knows that today’s public, today’s children want to hear all this, they have nothing to do with studies. He considers everyone like this. Especially the children who are from far-off places.”
The student pointed out, “The things he speaks about knowledge go viral. The YouTube channel makes them viral, they get money and the children feel that yes, he is speaking the truth. He is speaking about life, I have to study from him. Children do not know the truth, he does not teach at all. His syllabus has not been completed till date.”
Another student underlined, “They have influence only on those children who have not opened a book till date. Those who talk using katta (country-made revolver) have no credibility for us. They have influence only on a few children who have not even opened a book in their lives till now.”
