New Delhi: Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s much-anticipated upcoming film, Pushpa: The Rule is reportedly preponed. In a happy news for fans, the film will now be released a day earlier in both India and overseas. Yes, you read it right! However, there is no official confirmation on the same but they are expected to announce the same during the press meet on Thursday, October 24.
Meanwhile, Pushpa 2 has collected around Rs 1000 crore in its pre-release collection. The theatrical rights of the film were sold for Rs 660 crore while digital rights were sold for Rs 275 crore to the online streaming platform, Netflix.
Pushpa 2 release date changed?
According to a report by Telugu360.com, the team of the film has changed the release date of the highly-anticipated film, Pushpa: The Rule by a day. It has now been preponed and Allu Arjun starrer will now hit theatres on December 5. The film will also have its special premieres on December 4, a day before its theatrical release. The team will also kick-start its promotions from Thursday as planned.
The film was originally scheduled to release on August 15, 2024. However, it was postponed due to pending post-production work and unfinished shooting.
The film has been making buzz ever since its announcement. Recently, the film made headlines after reports came out that Shraddha Kapoor will make a special appearance in the movie and most likely, she will appear in a special song. In Pushpa: The Rise, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is featured in the hit song, ‘Oo Antava’.

Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, the film features an ensemble cast including Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Sritej, among others.
The film is a sequel to the blockbuster hit film, Pushpa: The Rise (2021). Pushpa 2 will pick up from where the first movie ended and is expected to be a blockbuster just like the previous one.
