Haryana Exit Poll Result 2024 LIVE: Voting in Haryana’s 90 assembly seats will end at 6.30pm, with results set to be announced on October 8. Experts anticipate a race primarily between the ruling BJP and the opposition Congress. Once voting concludes, all eyes will turn to the exit poll predictions from various pollsters, which can only be released after voting ends. According to Section 126A of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, exit poll results cannot be disseminated from the start of voting until half an hour after polls close.
The Election Commission has instructed media outlets not to publish any exit poll predictions before 6.30pm today. Therefore, the earliest these predictions can be made public is 7pm. This embargo is a standard practice during both assembly and Lok Sabha elections and is lifted once voting in all participating states has finished.
