Kupwara: A fierce gunfight broke out between terrorists and security forces in Tangdhar area of Kupwara district, North Kashmir on Wednesday.
The clash took place along the Line of Control (LoC) after security forces conducted a cordon and search operation in the area.
As the forces approached a suspected location, the terrorists reportedly opened fire, leading to an intense exchange of gunfire.
A senior police officer said that both sides were involved in the exchange of fire. The situation remains tense as the operation continues.
