Woman collapses while dancing
The incident comes a week after a wedding celebration in Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh, when a woman collapsed while dancing and never regained consciousness. The incident took place at Magdham Resort during a sangeet ceremony. Parineeta Jain, a resident of Indore, had come to attend her cousin’s wedding. While dancing on stage, she suddenly collapsed. At first, guests thought she had just lost her balance, but when she did not move, they rushed her to the hospital. Doctors there declared her dead and suspected a heart attack as the cause.
The sangeet had started at 9 pm, and the incident happened around 10 pm. Some doctors in the family tried performing CPR, but she showed no response. She was taken to a private hospital in Vidisha, where she was pronounced dead. After the tragedy, wedding celebrations were toned down, and all events planned for Sunday were canceled. Since most of her family lived in Vidisha, her last rites were performed there.
