That’s right, a scientific study claims that King Khan has the perfect face! Using physical mapping software, a cosmetic surgeon established something called the ‘Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi’. Here is what the study entails.
Greek Golden ratio study- what is it?
Doctor Julian De Silva, a UK-based cosmetic surgeon, used physical mapping software to determine the facial perfection of actors across the globe. With the compiled data, Dr Julian De Silva listed the most handsome men in the world, spoiler, Shah Rukh Khan makes it to the top 10! The said ‘golden ratio’ is an old mathematical concept that was introduced by the Greeks to quantify beauty. Fun fact, this ratio was used by the renowned painter Da Vinci to reimagine the ‘idea’ male proportions for his piece called The Vitruvian Man.
The study, published on the London Facial Plastic Surgery website, claims that the closer the face proportions are to the number 1.618 (Phi), the more aesthetically pleasing the person is to the eye. Julian De Silva devised a mapping software to find out which of the actors’ faces aligned the most with the ancient Greek concept of perfect beauty.

Taking these points into consideration, the study mapped out various actors’ faces to find out – who are the most scientifically handsome men in the world. Here is what the study revealed.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson made it to the top of the list with a whopping 93.04% on the golden ratio scale. Actors such as Lucien Laviscount, Paul Mescal, Robert Pattinson, George Clooney, and Idris Elba, ranked above Shah Rukh Khan who took the tenth place on the list with 86.76%.
