Washington: President Donald Trump had a landmark bilateral meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, marking a huge leap in India-US ties while referring to him as a “great leader” and a “better negotiator” than him.
Modi arrived in the US from France on Wednesday and was hosted by Trump on Thursday for their first bilateral talks since the Republican leader began his second term as US President last month.
Addressing a joint presser after their meeting on Friday, the two leaders spoke on a range of topics they discussed while speaking highly about each other, reflecting and warmth and depth in the relations between New Delhi and Washington.
