Google Doodle on October 25, 2024, took to his Google illustrations and transformed it to celebrate the legendary Indian playback singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, famously known as KK. The singer is being celebrated for his remarkable versatility. He left a lasting legacy in the music industry with his ability to sing across various Indian languages like Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Odia, Gujarati, Bengali and many more. KK’s wide-ranging talent and contribution to the music of diverse linguistic cultures continue to be cherished by fans across India.
KK released his first album Pal in 1999, which became a huge success in the industry and gained a lot of love for the soothing and soulful voice. He grew his career with over 3,500 jingles in more than 11 languages. People admired his versatile and captivating voice, leading to many opportunities to sing for Indian films. During his 30-year career, KK recorded over 500 songs in Hindi and more than 200 songs in Telugu, Bengali, Kannada, and Malayalam.
