Ranchi: In good news for the people of Jharkhand, the state government has decided to lease 181 flats/houses to the residents. Announcing the same, Jharkhand State Housing Board (JHSB) said that these houses/flats will be leased for 90 years after an e-lottery system is conducted next month.
Sharing details, the officials said that the flats will be allotted by the board on an ‘As is where basis’. Those looking to apply for properties must apply from February 10 to March 10. They must apply through the official websites of the JHSB which are jshb.jharkhand.gov.in and jshblottery.jharkhand.gov.in
What are the eligible criteria?
Regarding the eligible criteria, the board said that those earning between Rs 3 lakh to Rs 6 lakh per annum can look to buy LIG flats. Similarly, those with annual incomes up to Rs 6 lakh and Rs 12 lakh may buy MIG flats, magicbrics.com reported. Also, those with annual income above Rs 12 lakh are eligible to buy HIG flats.
What are the documents required?
Importantly, the applicant will also be required to have self self-declaration, one year’s income tax return, and notification proof of birth certificate, among others. Those applying must also not have any property on freehold or leasehold within 8 km of the area.
As per Magicbrics, the fee is one-time and non-refundable. Those looking to buy EWS houses will be required to pay Rs 1,000, while those looking for LIG/MIG flats will required to pay Rs 2,000 fees. Same way those looking to buy HIG flats are required to pay a fee of Rs 3,000 apart from 18 percent GST.
Notably, this would be the first time that the board would carry the entire process of allotment online. Speaking about the development, board chairman Sanjay Paswan said that allotments will also begin in Step are being taken to allot them among the public, he added.
