New Delhi: Garmin has launched its Fenix 8 Series, a premium multisport GPS smartwatch in India starting at ₹86,990 and comes with a two-year warranty. The smartwatch is suitable for athletes, adventurers, and fitness enthusiasts, offering advanced training modules and exceptional tracking capabilities. The Fenix 8 Series is a combination of rugged design, advanced features, and extended battery life.
The Fenix 8 Series comes in two display options: an ultra-bright AMOLED model and a solar-charging model, both of which are designed to provide the ultimate outdoor experience. The 51mm AMOLED version boasts a battery life of up to 29 days in smartwatch mode, while the solar-charging variant can last up to an impressive 48 days. These models also support users with daily training readiness scores and a Body Battery score, helping individuals decide whether to push harder or take a rest day.

The standout features of the Fenix 8 are its endurance and hill score metrics, VO2 max, and advanced strength training capabilities. The series also offers unique dive functionalities with a 40-meter dive rating, making it suitable for both scuba and apnea divers. The built-in speaker and microphone allow users to make phone calls directly from the watch, along with voice commands, adding to its hands-free convenience.

Garmin has improved its design with leak-proof metal buttons and a durable sensor guard to protect essential components. The smartwatch uses with premium materials that include an optional titanium bezel and sapphire lens, the Fenix 8 Series is designed to withstand tough conditions, meeting military standards for thermal, shock, and water resistance.

The Fenix 8 Series also supports a wide range of sports, offering personalized daily workouts, free Garmin Coach plans, and specialized features like PacePro™ for pace guidance, ClimbPro for real-time updates on climbs, and animated strength training sessions. Mapping and navigation features have been significantly upgraded, allowing users to access Topo Active maps and dynamic route planning even without internet connectivity.

Garmin Fenix 8 Series is available in three sizes for the AMOLED display (43mm, 47mm, and 51mm) and in two sizes for the solar-charging model (47mm and 51mm). The series is available at premium retail stores and on the Garmin India website.
