Srinagar: Security forces launched an operation in Kishtwar on Monday morning. As per reports, about 3-4 terrorists are said to be trapped in the Keshwan forest area here.
A Junior Commissioner Officer (JCO) was killed, while 3 other soldiers were injured in a gunfight with terrorists here on Sunday. The operation was carried out a day after intensified hunt after the killing of two Village Defence Guards (VDGs) recently. The soldier who laid down his life in Kishtwar has been identified as Naib Subedar Rakesh Kumar of 2 Para.
