Ayodhya: The Uttar Pradesh is all set to for grand Diwali celebration in Ayodhya this year with an aim to lit about 28 lakh diyas along Saryu river. This year also marks the first Diwali of Ram Temple in Ayodhya after inauguration in January this year.
Main attraction would be the special eco-friendly lamps that will illuminate the Ram temple. These lamps have been designed to prevent stains and soot on the temple’s structure and will remain lit for extended periods. Special wax has been used in these lamps to prevent the carbon emission.
Special arrangements for Diwali celebration at Ram Temple in Ayodhya
As part of the arrangements to make this Diwali celebration in Ayodhya, the temple complex will be be adorned by special floral decorations. The temple complex has been divided into various sections for decoration. A retired IG from the Bihar Cadre, Ashu Shukla, has been assigned the overall responsibility of lighting and entrance arch decorations.
In a move to make the celebrations grand and memorable, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra has announce to keep the temple open from October 29 to November 1 until midnight. The visitors will be able to get entry into the temple from Gate No 4B (luggage scanner point).
Ram Temple and Ayodhya all set to create world record
Around 30,000 volunteers have been tasked to decorate 55 ghats along the Saryu with 28 lakh diyas. More than 2,000 supervisors, coordinators, ghat in-charges, and other members will be monitoring the celebrations and its preparations.
About 30,000 volunteers from 14 colleges, 37 inter-colleges, and 40 NGOs have been roped in for the grand celebrations, said Sant Sharan Mishra, the nodal officer for the Deepotsav celebrations.
A spectacular Swastik symbol is being created with 80,000 diyas at ghat number 10 of Ram Ki Paidi, involving more than 150 dedicated volunteers. This grand display will be a major highlight of the celebration, the release said.
On January 22 this year, an idol of Ram Lalla was consecrated at the Ayodhya temple in a ceremony led by PM Modi.
