Hyderabad: Former Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy hit out at TDP and CM Chandrababu Naidu during a public interaction in Vizianagaram district and said that the state government should focus on public issues and not on his family disputes.
“Issues plaguing the state are being ignored and topic is being diverted to focus on disputes in my family. I want to ask the TDP and the CM, don’t they have internal family disputes? It’s the story of every family. My family is no different.”
He asked the TDP and Pro Naidu media to concentrate on the issues of the state that require immediate attention.
TDP releases YS Sharmila’s letter to Jagan:
In a letter to her brother Jagan Reddy, YS Sharmila lamented that he was inflicting injustice upon her and her children by withholding the rightful share of family assets acquired by their father YS Rajasekhar Reddy.
She accused him of violating the promise made during the division of properties and expressed grief that he was dragging them to court.
“I hope you will come up from the depths of the moral abyss and still fulfill your promise to our father and abide by the agreement made between us.
If the agreement is violated, I will go through all the legal means available to me to protect my rights,” she further stated in the letter.
Jagan sues sister Sharmila, mother Vijayamma:
On Wednesday, Jagan Reddy and his wife Bharati filed a petition against his sister YS Sharmila and their mother YS Vijayamma in the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) in Hyderabad.
The petition was filed in connection with allotment of shares of Saraswati Power and Industries Private Limited, under section 59 of the Companies Act on September 10. The Act deals with rectification of register of members.
They sought to annul what they describe as illegal transfer of shares of Saraswati Power Company. They state that the transfer of shares were done illegally in July 2024 in violation of an MoU signed earlier.
The shares were also transferred without the submission of duly executed share forms or original share certificates, which is required under Section 56 of Company Act. He also mentioned in the petition that there was no love lost between the siblings and that his sister deeply hurt him.
