Bengaluru: A man took to the Grapevine app to share the struggle he had to endure due to heavy rain in Bengaluru. His scooter stopped working on a waterlogged street and he was left in a life or death situation. Luckily, he managed to get to a friend’s home. However, his next task of reaching home wasn’t easy either. He had to deal with the tantrums of the city’s infamous auto drivers.
The man, who goes by the pseudonym ‘Jordan Lee’, on the app said that he had never witnessed such relentless downpours in his five years in the city. “Just faced a life or death situation in this rain. I’ve lived in Bangalore for five years now, but I’ve never seen anything like today, ” said the man. The man, who left home in his two-wheeler, claimed that the rain worsened when he reached 80 feet road. His scooter stopped working due to the waterlogging on the road and to make matters worse, he saw an electric cable sparking just 10 metres away from him. He was left with no option but to push his vehicle.
