New Delhi: A high drama unfolded after the news of the disappearance and suspected kidnapping of Rishraj Sawant, son of former Maharashtra government minister and Shiv Sena MLA Tanjai Sawant.
It was later revealed that Rishiraj had left Pune airport on a private jet to travel to Bangkok. Earlier, the former minister rushed to the police station to file a missing person report. However, it was later confirmed that his son was safe and had left due to some personal dispute at home.
Initially, there were reports of an alleged abduction of the former minister’s son, followed by news of his disappearance, with claims that he had gone missing from Pune airport. Pune police immediately launched an investigation, and a complaint was filed.
Some reports said that eyewitnesses revealed that he was taken in a Swift car by four unidentified persons from the Narhe area, under the jurisdiction of Singhgad police station, around 4:57 pm. However, the latest update confirms that Tanjai Sawant’s son is safe and will return to Pune soon.
According to latest information, Rishiraj Sawant has now got in touch with the Pune police. Rishiraj was travelling to Bangkok on a chartered flight, accompanied by three of his friends. The Pune police contacted the flight company, and it was confirmed that the flight would land in Chennai shortly.
Earlier, a missing person and abduction case had been registered at the Singhgad Police Station. However, upon investigation, it was revealed that the individuals were his friends, and they were all travelling together to Bangkok.
