The meeting took place at the Turkey House within the United Nations building in New York, where Erdogan was attending the 78th United Nations General Assembly. The President presented a football to Musk’s son during their conversation. Discussions revolved around SpaceX collaborating with the Turkiye Space Program, with a particular focus on securing a license for SpaceX’s satellite internet service, Starlink, in Turliye. Erdogan assured Musk of full cooperation in the field of AI and SpaceX’s ambitious ventures in the Turkish space sector.
