Mumbai: Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde’s die hard supporter and Shiv Sena sitting MLA from Palghar Assembly constituency, Shrinivas Vanga, is reportedly missing for the last 15 hours after he was denied ticket for the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections next month.
While expressing concerns over Vanga well being on Tuesday, family said he was disappointed after being denied ticket for the November 20 state Assembly polls. Vanga was among MLA who had supported Shinde when announced to part ways with Uddhav Thackeray.

Earlier, a video of Vanga where he was seen crying after being denied elections ticket by the party was widely shared on social media.
Family members said he left home without informing any of them and his both phones are now switched off. After being informed by the family, police have have formed 5 teams and launched a massive search in Paghar and neighbouring areas. Based on the last known location from CCTV footages, police are trying to find out Vanga.

Today is the last of filing nomination for the Maharashtra Assembly elections scheduled to take place on November 20. The result and counting of votes for the 288 seats will take place on November 23.
