Leh: A mild earthquake of 4.3 magnitude struck the city of Leh, the capital of the Union territory of Ladakh on Wednesday. Tremors were also felt in the nearby areas of the mountainous region, the National Center for Seismology (NCS) said.
The earthquake struck at around 4:23 pm at a depth of 10 kilometers at the epicentre of Leh, the NCS said, adding that it occurred at the coordinates — latitude 34.50 north and longitude 78.79 east.

No casualties or damage to property has been reported in the earthquake yet.
