On Friday, approximately 30 schools received bomb threats sent via email, prompting a multi-agency search of their premises. Earlier in the week, at least 44 schools had received similar emails on Monday. The police later confirmed those earlier threats were hoaxes, as no suspicious items were discovered during the searches.
