New Delhi: The traffic will be affected in many areas of south Delhi from October 25 to 27 due to Radha Swami Satsang Beas religious congregation which will take place at Radha Swami Satsang Complex, Bhati Mines, Chhattarpur Mehrauli. The congregation will held from 4 am to 6 pm, for three days. A large number of devotees from India and abroad including many VIPs and high dignitaries will be present in the event. Due to this the Delhi traffic police have issued traffic guidelines for people travelling in nearby areas.
In the three day event, approximately 3 to 4 lakh people are expected to gather. Out of these, around 80,000 people are expected to stay overnight at the Satsang Complex. Remaining people of the Sangat will be commuting from different areas of Delhi and NCR. The Delhi traffic police has made detail arrangements for the smooth flow of traffic during the event.
Advisory regarding entry to satsang complex
All devotees and all types of vehicles can enter the complex from Bhati Mines Road. To avoid congestion, the devotees are advised to reach the complex before 6 pm. The event organisers have made separate arrangements for different types of vehicles and visitors.
Devotees coming from Faridabad and Gurugram can avoid inconvenience by taking Dera Border route to reach Bhati Mines for going to Radha Swami Satsang Complex. The organisers of the event have also made adequate arrangements for parking vehicles of all categories.
Restrictions on Roads from 4 am to 6:30 pm
For evading traffic jam, the heavy transport vehicles (HTV) will be prohibited on Bhati Mines Road between Chattarpur Road (SSN Marg) – Gurgaon Road T-Point and Satsang Complex from 4 am to 6:30 pm during the three day event. The heavy vehicles will be diverted from Mandi Road to Jona Pur cut to Mehrauli Gurugram Road and near Mallu Farm on Badh Road cut on Bhati Mines Road to Joan Pur Mehrauli Gurugram Road. The motorists are also advised to take these diverted routes to avoid any traffic congestion during the prescribed times.
