New Delhi: While the voting ended for Delhi Assembly Elections were held on February 5, results are all set to be announced on February 8. The three major parties of Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Congress, and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have expressed confidence in winning the Elections this time.
Even though most of the exit polls have predicted the BJP’s win, the outcome of results may be different as had happened in the past on several occasions. The election campaigns have also witnessed allegations and counter-allegations by the three parties. While BJP and Congress are looking to win and make a comeback after Years, AAP will look to form the government for the successive time once again.
Apart from the major parties, there were other parties in the fray including Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), and Shiv Sena, among others. While the voting started at 7 AM and continued till 5 PM which saw a voter turnout of 60.54 percent. Notably, there will be one counting station each in Central Delhi, Shahdara, South, East, and South West districts. While, the West, North, Southeast, and Northeast districts will give two counting stations each. Similarly, New Delhi and Northwest districts have three counting stations each.

The results will be counted from 8 AM in the morning and will go on till the time the last vote is counted.
Security tightened up in Delhi
The security has been tightened up in Delhi with a three-tier security arrangement. There are around 10,000 police personnel, including two paramilitary companies at each center, have been put in place.
