Vote counting for the Delhi Assembly elections began at 8 a.m., with early trends showing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) crossing the majority mark, effectively putting a halt to AAP’s hopes of retaining power.
Several AAP heavyweight leaders, including party chief Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister Atishi, former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and Avadh Ojha were trailing when the early trends came in.
