New Delhi: Remo D’Souza, Bollywood’s star choreographer is well-known for his brilliant moves. Apart from being a choreographer, Remo D’Souza has been a judge on various dance reality TV shows such as Dance India Dance, and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, among many others. Well, Remo D’Souza and his wife Lizella D’Souza have found themselves in deep waters this time.
As per reports, the couple along with five others have been booked for non-payment of a whopping Rs 11.96 crore. You read that right! An FIR was filed against the seven individuals in the Thane district in Maharashtra. Here is what really happened.

According to PTI, an FIR was filed by a 26-year-old dancer. Registered at the Mira Road police station on October 16, 2024, Remo D’Souza, Lizelle and five others have been accused of forgery, cheating, and other provisions under the Indian Penal Code.
The FIR stated that the complainant and his dance troupe were allegedly cheated between the years 2018 and July 2024. According to the FIR, the troupe performed on a dance TV show and won. However, it has been alleged that the accused individuals posed as if the troupe belonged to them and claimed the massive prize money of Rs 11.96 crore.
Further details reveal that the other five accused in the case are Rohit Jhadhav, Fram Production Company, Omprakash Shankar Chouhan, Ramesh Gupta, and Vinod Raut, a policeman. This is a developing case and the details are scarce, however, the authorities have stated that a probe is currently underway.
