New Delhi: Mumbai Police have arrested television actress Shabreen, known for her role in the crime show Crime Patrol. She has been accused of kidnapping a 2.5-year-old child and was apprehended by the Waliv Police in Vasai. Shabreen, who is also part of the upcoming film Singham 3, has been taken into custody, while her boyfriend, Brajesh, is currently under investigation for his involvement. Another woman allegedly involved in the kidnapping is still being pursued by the police.
The case revolves around Shabreen’s romantic relationship with Brajesh Singh. However, due to their different religious backgrounds, Brajesh’s family opposed their marriage. Deeply in love, Shabreen was upset by this opposition and devised a plan to kidnap Brajesh’s young nephew in retaliation. Despite working in popular TV serials and films, she was allegedly driven by her feelings for Brajesh to commit this crime.
Shabreen, boy’s uncle were in relationship
Shabreen and Brajesh had been in a relationship for several years, and she was determined to marry him, disregarding the caste and religious differences between them. However, Brajesh’s Rajput family refused to accept the Muslim actress as a potential bride. After multiple failed attempts to gain their approval, Shabreen allegedly chose a drastic path, which eventually led her to jail.
The victim, a 2.5-year-old boy was picked up by Shabreen at around 11am on Saturday, after his classes. The boy willingly went with her as he knew Shabreen. When the boy, named Prince, didn’t return home by the afternoon, his family contacted the class, only to discover that he had left with a familiar woman who claimed she was taking him for medical treatment.
Boy safely rescued by cops
Upon reviewing CCTV footage, the police spotted Shabreen leaving with the child in an auto-rickshaw. Another woman was also seen accompanying them. The auto driver was tracked down, and upon questioning, revealed that the pair had disembarked in Naya Gaon. Locals identified Shabreen from photographs shown by the police. Through mobile location tracking, authorities found Shabreen in Bandra, where she was taken into custody. After interrogation, she revealed the boy was safe in a flat in Naya Gaon, and the police successfully rescued him. Shabreen is now in custody, and Brajesh’s role in the kidnapping is still under investigation.
