New Delhi: Google India grabbed eyeballs with its unique creation for Diwali. A video posted on their social media page showcased a QR code rangoli design. Netizens were impressed and showered Google India with praises. They said it was a creative and distinctive design.
In the video posted on Google India’s official Instagram page, a man was seen standing in front of the QR code rangoli design featuring the words “send shagun this way”. The man then went on to open Google Pay, scan the code and then send an amount of money as “shagun”. The clip was captioned, “Masti rukni nahi chahiye #KeepTraditionsAlive.” Within minutes of posting, the video earned a lot of traction. The innovative clip garnered the comments of many.

Some claimed they were going to make similar rangolis. Others lauded the minds and hands behind the implementation of the rangoli. There were even netizens who wrote down their Google Pay IDs for shagun. One individual commented, “Waiting for my shagun from your side:- roushanjha124421.rj-2@oksbi.” Another wrote, “Google I am shagun please reply me in my DM it’s diwali time and shagun khud aae h aapke pass.” A third individual opined, “The method of asking for money is a bit casual.”
The video amassed more than 23,000 likes and over a million views.
