Wardha: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that the basic spirit of Vishwakarma Yojana is respect, strength, and prosperity. Addressing a public gathering in Wardha, Maharashtra, he highlighted the success of the ‘PM Vishwakarma Yojana.’
PM Modi’s speech also coincided with the day Mahatma Gandhi launched his campaign against untouchability in 1932. Drawing inspiration from Gandhi’s ideals, the Prime Minister spoke about how the Vishwakarma Yojana is designed to utilise India’s centuries-old craftsmanship for modern development.

PM Modi launches several projects in Wardha
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a public gathering in Wardha, Maharashtra on Friday. He participated in the national ‘PM Vishwakarma’ program, which celebrates one year of progress under Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma.
PM Modi also launched several development and start-up schemes. He also laid the foundation stone of Mitra Park in Amravati, Maharashtra.
He issued certificates and loans to the beneficiaries of PM Vishwakarma Yojana. He also released a commemorative postage stamp to mark the completion of one year of this scheme.
During his visit, PM Modi also launched Acharya Chanakya Skill Development Scheme and Punyashlok Ahilyabai Holkar Mahila Start-up Scheme.
