Dehradun: A 72-member team of youths from Uttarakhand, which will participate in the 28th National Youth Festival to be held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi from January 11 to 12, was flagged off by the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
The state’s minister for youth welfare Rekha Arya was also present on this occasion. CM Dhami inspired the youths to make the state proud at the national level.
The state’s 42 young leaders to participate in programme relating to Viksit Bharat
In Uttarakhand’s team, 30 youths will participate in the cultural program during the celebration of the National Youth Festival 2025. 42 young leaders, who are part of the team, will showcase their talent by participating in the programme relating to Viksit Bharat during the National Youth Festival. In the hill state’s 72-member team, 40 women participants are representing women empowerment.
A platform for the young talent to share their ideas for Viksit Bharat@2047 initiative
Aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for greater youth involvement in shaping the nation’s future, the union ministry of youth affairs and sports has reimagined the National Youth Festival into the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue this year. The initiative aims to harness the collective potential of India’s youth, empowering them to contribute holistically to the country’s development. It will also offer a platform to young talent to share their ideas for the Viksit Bharat@2027 initiative, which envisions India as a developed nation by the centenary of its independence.
CM wished them best wishes
Chief Minister Dhami said that the National Youth Festival is a big platform for the youth to showcase and exhibit their talent. He also expressed his best wishes for all the participants of the National Youth Festival from Uttarakhand. He hoped that they would make the state proud at the national level.
