Police are investigating the case and have launched a manhunt to identify the attackers. CCTV footage from the area is being examined for clues.

Harvilas Rajju Majra had contested Haryana Assembly elections from Narayangarh constituency on a Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) ticket. Harvilas, apart from being a political figure, also ran a banquet hall named Radhe Farm in his village and was involved in farming.
