New Delhi: A man in Ramnagar village, Lakhisarai district of Bihar facilitaed his wife’s marriage to her boyfriend after finding about their intimate relationship. The unusual wedding, which took place earlier this week, has garnered significant attention from the community. Khushboo Kumari, 22, was married to Rajesh Kumar, 26, in 2021. However, she continued to maintain a close relationship with her childhood friend, Chandan Kumar, 24, even after getting married and having a child.
Rajesh arranges couple’s union
The situation changed dramatically when Chandan secretly visited Rajesh’s home one night but got caught by Khushboo’s in-laws. However, instead of punishing him, Rajesh did something unexpected. He introduced Chandan to the village and, with their approval, arranged for Khushboo to marry her former lover in a ceremony at a local temple. In a surprising act of kindness, Rajesh gave his blessing to the couple and wished them well as they started their new life together, The Times of India reported.
“Both had been deeply in love and were often found talking to each other. So, I finally married my wife to her boyfriend to bring happiness to their lives. I just helped them stay together…Khush rahen, badiya se kamayen-khayen (I wish them a happy married life),” Rajesh told reporters.

Khusbhoo exresses gratitude
Khushboo acknowledged that her husband knew about the relationship and conveyed her appreciation. He agreed to our wedding after finding me with my boyfriend. Now, I will stay with my new husband,” she said. Despite the unusual situation, Rajesh remained with his two-year-old son, Ayush, to whom he and his mother are deeply attached. We can’t live without him. He is our only source of happiness,” said Rajesh’s mother, who was seen caring for the child.
