Thiruvananthapuram: A full emergency was declared at Thiruvananthapuram airport on Thursday following a bomb threat on an Air India flight from Mumbai.
The flight has been placed in an isolation bay as a precaution, and passengers are being evacuated. According to airport sources, the bomb threat was received while the aircraft was on the ground.
“Air India flight 657 landed at Thiruvananthapuram Airport. A full emergency declared after a bomb threat was received. The flight in the isolation bay. Passengers to be evacuated soon,” said Thiruvananthapuram Airport officials.
