While Delhi’s own pollution level was 30.34 percent, NCR recorded 30.34 percent pollution during the same period. Other states of North India recorded 27%.”

About 80% of the incidents of stubble burning in Punjab were reduced by the Aam Aadmi Party government. This figure is not of the Delhi and Punjab government, is of the Centre. In Uttar Pradesh, there were 1271 incidents of stubble burning in 2022, which increased to 2166.”
Urging the BJP-ruled states of Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan for support for support on the issue of stable burning, he added, “Transport is a big contributor to pollution. When our government was formed, we had 5000 CNG buses. We increased them to 7000 and started 2000 electric buses. But BJP governments in states are running diesel buses. We removed diesel generators, but in BJP-ruled states there is a power cut of 10 hours each.”
‘All states must work together to reduce pollution’
Talking further on the steps taken by the Delhi, Rai further added, “We shifted the industry to PNG. Increased green area. Made a winter action plan. We are working day and night. Its effect is also visible. In 2016, Kejriwal gave 116 Achche Din, today it has become 206. All state governments will have to work together. Only then will pollution reduce.”
