Deodhar’s notable achievements include founding “My Home India” in 2004, an organisation that has assisted thousands of North Eastern students migrating to other parts of India for education. This initiative has also played a role in countering separatist sentiments in some North Eastern communities.
The citation also acknowledged Deodhar’s “Sapno Se Apno Tak” initiative, responsible for reuniting over 3,700 children with their families, demonstrating the power of simple acts of kindness. His “Dard se Hamdard Tak” project provided legal aid to over 400 jail inmates, and “Jan Aarogya Raksha” has delivered healthcare to more than 100,000 patients in recent years.
