Gurugram: Flouting traffic norms seems to have become a norm in Delhi-NCR. In a shocking incident, a biker was killed after he was hit by a car driving on the wrong side in Gurugram district of Haryana. The incident was caught on camera. The deceased has been identified as Akshat Garg (23).
The incident took place when a Mahindra SUV that was driving in the wrong lane hit Akshat
on the Golf Course Road near Belvedere Park, DLF Phase II in Gurugram.

The video was captured by Akshat’s friend on his Go Pro camera. The has now gone viral on social media. In the video, the victim Akshat Garg, can be seen taking a right turn on Gurugram’s Golf Course Road when he collided with the Mahindra XUV 300 – which was driving in the wrong lane.
The vehicle of the accused reportedly had a sticker of a BJP leader.
Gurugram Police arrest accused
Meanwhile, Gurugram Police have informed that they have registered an FIR against the accused under relevant sections of BNS and he has been arrested. The city police also said that a challan worth over Rs issued 16,000 was issued for wrong-side driving in August 2024, and strict action will continue.
In this matter FIR has been registered under relevant sections of BNS and accused has been arrested as per law.
