Is it the end of Avinash’s journey in Bigg Boss 18?
For context, Avinash was accused of charging at Chum Darag with the intention of hitting her. While Avinash denied such intentions, Rajat’s comment about the women in the house not ‘feeling safe’ around Avinash threw the entire house into chaos. Alice and Eisha were against these accusations and continued to reiterate that Avinash would never hurt a woman. In addition, Avinash’s comment on Arfeen and Sara’s profession also hurt sentiments around the house.
While Avinash was briefly kicked out, he was brought back and sent to the in-house jail. But, there is a twist, Avinash was given all control of the week’s ration of the house. This led to yet another string of arguments. Avinash demanded an apology for the accusation thrown at him. Not only this, he also demanded that Karan Veer Mehra’s decision to bring up Avinash’s sister during an argument should be punished.

Avinash demanded that if there was no apology, he would not give out a ration to the contestants who voted in favour of eliminating him. Amid this chaos, Vivian Dsena and Chahhat Pandey were among the very few who were trying to dissolve the situation and make sure everyone would get to eat for the night. However, with Karan Veer refusing to apologise and the agitation in the house increasing all hell broke loose.
Rajat Dalal became furious at Avinash’s refusal to distribute ration and devised a plan. Rajat and Arfeen, along with Tajjinder Bagga and Shehzada put up sofas against the jail and refused to let Avinash sleep till he gave up the ration. In anger at being refused food, Arfeen Khan, the ‘Time God’ of the house ordered that no one would be able to cook in the kitchen until everyone would be able to eat. Over the night, arguments and tears continued as contestants kept picking fights with each other.
In the end, Avinash’s anger subsided and he agreed to give a basic ration to all the housemates. However, he clearly explained that he was not in the wrong and that Karan Veer’s statement deeply offended him. The episode ends with Karan Veer attempting to speak with Avinash, but the latter refuses to do so.
