Bengaluru: To ensure a smooth flow of traffic, Bengaluru police have issued a traffic advisory ahead of Doddagunta Dasara Pallakki Utasav which is organised by Sri Lakshmi Narayana Swamy Temple from 9:00 am of October 19 to 11:pm of October 20.
Ahead of the Doddagunta Dasara Pallakki Utasav, all types of vehicles will be restricted in areas of Pottery Road, Assave Road, Ramakrishnappa Road and Sundarmarthy Road. The traffic police has suggested alternative routes for the travellers.
All types of vehicles are restricted in following roads
- Pottery Road: MM Road Junction to Doddaganta Circle and Assaye Road Junctions will be temporarily in both directions.
- All vehicles from Assaye Road – Sundarmurthy Road Junction via Tambuchetty Road to MM Road-Pottery Road Junction will be temporarily restricted.
- Entry of vehicles from Ramakrishnappa Road, PSK Naidu Road Junction through Ramakrishnappa Road-Sundarmarthy Road towards Assaye Road Junction will be temporarily restricted.
Suggested Alternate Routes:
- Traffic going to Doddagunta Circle and Assaye Road via MM Road at Pottery Road-MM Road Junction will be diverted, they can reach Buddha Vihara Road via Lazar Road and then proceed towards Assaye Road via Sindhi Colony Junction.
- Traffic heading towards Tambuchetty Road MM Road at Assaye Road Sundaramurthy Road Junction will be diverted, they can reach Sindhi Colony Junction via Assaye Road and then proceed to MM Road via Buddavihara Road – Kenchappa Road.
- Traffic going towards Assaye Road Junction via Ramakrishnappa Road – Sundaramurthy Road at Ramakrishnappa Road PSK Naidu Road Junction will be diverted, they should go straight on PSK Naidu Road and take a left turn at Assaye Road and then can take a U-tum near MEG gate and further towards Assaye Road Junction.
Places restricted for parking
No vehicles are allowed to be parked on MM Road, Doddagunta Circle, Sundarmurthy Road, Webster Road, Ramakrishnappa Road, Charles Cambell Road, PSK Naidu Road and Tambuchetty Road from 19- 20 October.
