New Delhi: In a tragic incident reported from Karnataka capital Bengaluru, a techie ended his life after blaming his wife and her family of harassment. The 34-year-old man also recorded a video detailing the alleged harassment by his wife, just before taking the extreme step.
The deceased has been identified as Atul Subhash, a native of Bihar. Following the incident, Bengaluru police reached the spot and found a suicide note. The police have filed a case of abetment of suicide. The victim was found dead at his residence in Manjunath Layout in the city.
Atul found hanging by suicide
Atul was found hanging by his neighbours. A placard reading “justice is due’ was also recovered from the home, according to a report in NDTV. Meanwhile, Atul’s brother Bikas Kumar has alleged that his wife had filed fake cases against him and his parents that caused him severe mental trauma.
In his video which Atul shot before his death, he made levelled serious allegations against his wife, and a woman judge in Jaunpur district of Uttar Pradesh.

The deceased also wrote a letter addressed to President of India and raised serious issues with the criminal justice system and trends of filing false cases.
Leaving behind another note, Atul claimed he is innocent and does not plead guilty to any charges against him by his wife. Atul’s wife allegedly filed cases related to dowry harassment, and other sections including causing hurt, cruelty to woman. He also urged the court to stop harassing his family in all these cases.
