On this day, Jammu and Kerala bank branches will remain closed in honor of the Prophet Mohammad’s birthday.
28 September Eid-e-Milad/Eid-e-Miladunnabi – A Day of Celebration
Prophet Mohammad’s birthday will be celebrated, leading to bank closures in Gujarat, Mizoram, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Telangana, Manipur, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand.
29 September Indrajatra Observance
After Eid-e-Milad-ul-Nabi, Sikkim, Jammu, and Srinagar bank branches will be closed due to Indrajatra festivities.
Online Banking Services for Seamless Transactions
During these closures, customers can still carry out their banking activities through online platforms, including UPI, mobile banking, internet banking, and digital payments. ATM transactions and cash withdrawals remain accessible. The next bank holiday will be on 2nd October for Gandhi Jayanti, when all banks will be closed.
