Ayodhya: DSN Murthy, chief coordinator of Maha Narayana Divya Rudra Sahita Shata Sahasra Chandi Vishwa Shanti Maha Yagam, and Mani of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, met Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday.
During the discussion, the chief minister was briefed on the grand spiritual event, its arrangements and its significance. The meeting was centred around the preparations for Maha Yagam, set to take place in Ayodhya’s Karasevakpuram.
All about Maha Yagam
Rudra Sahita Shata Sahasra Chandi Vishwa Shanti Maha Yagam is a monumental spiritual event aimed at global peace and well-being. It will feature the installation of Rama Yantram and is described as a first-of-its-kind event in Kaliyug.
Yagam involves chanting of Vedic hymns and powerful rituals to invoke divine blessings. Religious scholars and devotees from across the country are expected to participate in this event.
Yogi Adityanath’s support
The chief minister was keenly interested in the detailed plan and the arrangements for the event. He assured his visit to Ayodhya later this month and committed to spending a full day participating in the rituals.
Recognizing the importance of the event, Yogi Adityanath instructed Ayodhya and Uttar Pradesh administration to extend full support, which includes – facilitating the Ratha Yatra (procession of chariots) during the Yagam, arranging for Annadanam (food distribution) to serve devotees attending the event, ensuring wide dissemination of information about the Yagam in Ayodhya and nearby districts, and installation of Ram Yantram in Ram Mandir
An important highlight of the discussion was the proposal to install the Ram Yantram in Ram Mandir in Ayodhya after the successful completion of the Yagam. Yogi Adityanath said that he would personally speak to the Trustees of the Shri Rama Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust regarding this initiative. If approved, the installation of the Ram Yantram is expected to be a landmark event, further enhancing the spiritual significance of the temple.
DSN Murthy and Mani have extended an invitation to all devotees, spiritual leaders, and communities to participate in this divine Maha Yagam.
