New Delhi: The BJP is poised to win the assembly elections in Delhi, if exit polls are to be believed. Most pollsters have given the party an advantage in the capital, with some even predicting a landslide win for the party.
One of the leading pollsters, Axis My India is yet to come up with its predictions for Delhi.
Axis My India, CMD, Pradeep Gupta, while talking to a news channel said that AAP will win less seats than what it won in 2020 assembly elections.
“People will give a decisive mandate to whosoever it goes to, there is no possibility of hung assembly,” Gupta said while talking to another news channel.
Axis My India is yet to release its data.
In 2015, Axis My India gave AAP 53 seats, BJP 17 and Congress 0. AAP eventually won 67 seats, while BJP got 3 seats. Only Axis gave AAP over 50 seats in its projections.
In 2020, Axis My India in collaboration with India Today projected 59-68 seats for AAP and 2-11 seats for BJP. The eventual results saw AAP winning 62 seats and BJP 8 seats.
