Ayodhya: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Friday said that it is only Sanatan Dharma which has the potential to take everyone along and everything in the world is safe is safe if the Sanatan Dharma is safe. He also asked what was the motive of those who destroyed palaces considered as sacred by the followers of Sanatan Dharma for so many centuries.
“What was the motive of those who destroyed Kashi Vishwnath Temple, the Ram Janmbhoomi, Shri Krishna Jnmabhoomi, the temple in Sambhal, which was the pious place of Lord Kalki or the Ma Saraswati temple in Bhuj. The lineage and clans of those who destroyed this pious places of followers of Santan Dharma had eventually met their fate.,” he said while addressing an event in the Holy city.
‘Descendents of Mughals pulling rikshaws’
The chief Minister while pointing out the fate of those thee desdendent of those who destroyed temple, said, “Someone told me the other day that descendants of Mughal emperor Arungzeb are now pulling rikshaws near Kolkata. If Aurangzeb had not destroyed temples, his descendent also not had to face the same fate. I will only say that if world peace has to be established in the world, then only Sanatan Dharma can do it.”

Reminding the audience on the movement that led to beginning of Ram Temple, which was inaugurated in Ayodhya this year, CM Yogi Adityanath added, “ Ending the sigma of the past, the stone laying ceremony was held in Ayodhya only, the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This year on January 22, 2024, the temple was inaugurated. It is due to guidence of saints the ambitions of the temple was finally achieved. When the temple was bein inaugurated, there was no follower of Sanatan Dharma, whose eyes did not get wet with devotion for Lord Ram”
Developments cannot be achieved by abandoning heritage: Yogi Adityanath
He added that country’s development cannot be sustained by abandoning heritage. “There has to be a better balance between heritage and development. It is our good fortune that under the leadership of PM Modi, the country has attained new heights of development, while maintaining its heritage. For this developed India we all have to work together.”
