New Delhi: Jailed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has written to Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena and informing him that minister Atishi will hoist national flag during the state’s official Independence Day function on August 15 this year.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Kejriwal is in jail since March this year in connection with a case related to Delhi excise policy.
With CM Kejriwal and his deputy Manish Sisodia in jail, Atishi currently handles multiple portfolios like Women and Child Development, Education, Tourism Art, Culture & Language, Public Works Department, Power.
