New Delhi: An NRI schooled fellow Indians after he was disturbed by the chaotic behaviour displayed by them on a flight from Munich to New Delhi. The man detailed his experience on Reddit and Redditors were quick to express their views and share their tales.
Sharing his experience on Reddit, the man said that his flight was delayed by 8 hours and what he had to witness next was the unruly attitude of fellow Indian travellers. “Sometimes I (live in Krakow) am ashamed to be seen as an Indian…. I want to ask as an Indian who also lives abroad to the Indians who live abroad too, why can’t you guys understand that your behaviour is seen by everyone?” said the man. He stated that Indians were loud and screaming at the airport in comparison to travellers from other countries.

They played reels at full volume without considering others around them and refused to adhere to basic human etiquette while standing in the queue. Further, the OP claimed that on entering the aircraft, the Indian travellers disrespected other passengers with their actions and continued to function with an ignorant attitude. The man further said that he now understands why his friend travels by business class.
Redditors resonated with the man. They spoke of how Indians lacked basic civic sense and did not even care to respect other people and their boundaries. One wrote, “The lack of basic civic sense is so alarming, but we need to start somewhere and teach the next generation to break this cycle.”
