Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh said that an APSRTC bus driver who was suspended after his dance video went viral, will be reinstated.
The RTC bus driver, Lovaraju, dancing to a song from the film ‘Devara’ went viral. The incident occurred two days ago, when Raju, from Tuni bus depot stopped near Koduru as the road was blocked by a tractor. He was forced to stop the bus on the narrow road and in a spontaneous moment, danced to the song ‘Killi Kiliye’.
The dance was filmed by the students who were traveling in the bus from Rowthulapudi and posted it online. Some higher ups in the RYC were displeased and suspended him for an alleged ‘breach of conduct’.
‘Suspension orders will be revoked’:
AP Minister Nara Lokesh, who is currently on a tour in the USA for investments, said that the driver’s suspension will be revoked and he will be asked to join back immediately. “I will meet him personally when I come back,” he said on social media platform X.
Before the suspension, Lokesh had reacted to the dance and complimented the driver. “Superb dance brother. I hope the bus passengers had a great a time watching the performance as I did, without any complaints.”
