The post comes at a time when the JMM leader Champai Soren is in Delhi amidst talks of his move to the BJP. He landed at the New Delhi Airport on Sunday. When questioned by reporters about the reason for his visit, he said that he was in the national capital for a “personal visit”.
Amidst the buzz, JMM flags and posters have vanished from Soren’s residence in Jillingora, Jharkhand and also his government bungalow in Ranchi. The Minister in the Jharkhand government was reportedly unhappy after he was unceremoniously removed from the CM’s position after the release of Hemant Soren. His move to the BJP along with some of his loyalists might cause another upheaval in Jharkhand politics.
So far however, Champai Soren himself has not confirmed anything regarding this matter. Earlier, before coming to Delhi, he was in Kolkata and had reportedly met BJP’s Suvendu Adhikari there.
